What was the highlight of HSM Don Juan Hotel Magaluf

Enjoyable overall.

HSM Don Juan is definitely good value for the money. The breakfast was tasty, and it had a lot of options to choose from. The room we stayed in was clean, and everything worked. The AC is nice, and the beds could be more comfy. The walls are thin, and you can hear someone snoring next door, which is unpleasant. The staff could also be more friendly. There is a big parking lot across from the hotel which is free and there is always parking which is just perfect. Overall a nice stay.

As I mentioned, the thin walls through which you hear someone watching TV or snoring or whatever. The beds are not the comfiest. As I also noted, there is a male receptionist whose name starts with an "R" who can be more friendly.

Location in Magaluf was perfect, hotel has good amenities like pool, evening program from a lively crew, friendly staff and dinner with lots of varieties.

Hotel Infrastructure is old and needs renovation, thin walls..Would be good to have a small refrigerator in the room.

Despite few imperfections in our room, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Location was really great. It was about 5 minutes from beach and there were also many shops in the area. Food was delicious and there was huge variety of it. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom in our room definitely needed some renovation, especially the tub. Bathroom handle was rusty and tub was in bad condition.

Value for money.

the whole experience was very much good value for money and I enjoyed it. Rudy is really cool.

It would have been nice to have more variety in terms of food options. Additionally the coffee and juice machines were only available during breakfast which was less than ideal. The food was often very oily and felt unhealthy. The elevators are also greatly outdated and constantly caused a lot of grief being as slow as they are, the elderly folk are particularly effected by this.

Good value 3* hotel in a great location

Good breakfast and dinner choice and was hot food , restaurant was clean and manned with good efficient staff, location was excellent with great and easy bus options for airport and other resorts, reception area noticeably recently modernised with a lovely welcoming sweet smell

Room was very dated and well in need of updating but I guess with the reception area being so modern the hotel is working its way through an upgrade of all areas and rooms,

Good location. The staff is very responsive, speaks several languages, you can contact us with any question at any time. The food is good, high quality. Breakfast is monotonous, but everyone can find acceptable food for themselves. Dinners are good, dishes changed/supplemented every day. The tablecloths are always clean, the waiters are attentive. Overall I liked everything

The number of rooms is a bit old, it would be nice to have some cosmetic renovations. I didn't find the beds very comfortable. But all this did not stop us from having a wonderful holiday.

Perfect hotel for a few night’s stay

The staff were lovely and welcoming. It was pretty quiet this time of year but I saw that as a good thing as the pool wasn’t crowded. Rooms were clean, bed was comfy and everything worked as needed. Location is good as it is away from the clubs so it’s peaceful at night.

The breakfast could be improved a bit as there isn’t that much selection. Room decor could be updated as the room was a bit plain and the bedsheets didn’t look modern.

Wonderful

Friendly and outgoing staff, early night events such as karaoke and trivia, ideal for some post dinner relaxation before hitting the town, alongside an overall pleasant atmosphere. We were hosted in a sunny, fresh and comfortable room, facing east, allowing us to catch quite a few sunrises! The swimming pool was clean and not crowded, bar and restaurant service were excellent, and the hotel is literally 6 minutes away from the closest beach. I would definitely pick this hotel for my next trip to Mallorca.

There is a lot to work on, but overall it was a good stay in a good hotel :)

The entire staff is wonderful and very responsible for their work. At the reception, there are qualified employees who know their work and will gladly help you with your questions. The kitchen also has a brilliant staff - waiters, chefs were very friendly and always smiling. When fully seated in the dining room, everyone behaved harmoniously as one mechanism. The food is very tasty, I think everyone will find something to their taste here. Great location - literally a couple of minutes to the beach and a minute to the bus stop. The hotel is not in the very center of loud cafes and restaurants. Internet worked great. The air conditioner worked well and you could control the temperature. The room is bright, the view from the balcony is good. The pool is always clean, free sunbeds, there was enough space for everyone. Every evening there was an entertainment program.

Cleaning every day - changed towels and bedclothes, but a warning for allergy sufferers - strong chemicals are also used for cleaning, after breakfast when the staff were cleaning, it was really hard to breathe - the smell of chemicals was everywhere, I couldn't stay in such a room and had to leave on the outside However, this is just my opinion - it didn't bother others. Also I have a question about wet cleaning - despite changing the linen and towels, cleaning the bathroom, the room has been always a bit dusty. The hotel needs at least a light cosmetic repair of the rooms - the walls were shabby and cracked. You could hear ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that happened in the neighboring rooms - all conversations, snoring, breathing and especially the TV. Despite the fact that we arrived not in the very tourist season, we could not sleep without earplugs. One gets the impression that everything that happens with the neighbors behind the wall is in your room. Therefore, I advise you to stock up on earplugs and patience, and in general, it would be good to put noise-absorbing panels in the rooms - it seemed that the walls were made of cardboard.

The staff were absolutely brilliant great place

The next door neighbours were so awful banging the wall every night when you came home couldn't sit on the balcony they were out shouting made us feel like we were walking on eggshells around them bumping the queue at breakfast and for drinks
